Stripped bamboo blocks reduce the height of water source blocks

To reproduce, just go to the ocean build a line of normal bamboo planks, and build two lines from those at least 3 blocks apart. One is bamboo planks, the other stripped bamboo blocks. You can also have a line half made of planks and half made of blocks.

Expected result: both of them act like every other block in the game, being next to water has the water 2 pixels shorter (I'm not sure if this is the intended height but that's not relevant)

Actual result: only the planks act normal, and the blocks will suck water down to two and a half or even three pixels. In fact, this isn't in the images, I have a one block hole of water that starts at three and goes down to 4 and a half pixels shorter.
