While swimming up while underwater it acts like im hitting a air block and then goes back into a sprint swim and just does this over and over slowly. Ive died multiple times with only 10 blocks from surface not being able to resurface in time before i drown. It started after the new update came out.

I have the same issue, you can press the jumping hotkey to go up before it’s fixed.
