Touchscreen doesn't work in settings while controller is in use

I'm playing on an Android handheld, specifically the AYN Odin3. This issue is also happening on my AYN Odin2. I used to be able to use the touchscreen to navigate the UI, but that doesn’t work anymore. As I’m typing this, I’m seeing that it also affects inventory.
