In texture packs with higher resolution than 16x16, the blocks are blurred and some items are outlined ruining the texture.

I've been experiencing some problems ever since 1.1 came out about when i download texture packs from mcpedl.com or other sites,if the resolution is 32x32 or higher, the textures start to become buggy. The blocks seem blurry as if they are in a lower resolution and some of the items are outlined in odd ways that takes away from the beauty of the texture pack. I have tried almost everything to try and fix it but nothing is working. Please help!!
