We’ve had a huge uptick of unplayable lag in the nether, affecting our ice roads and making certain chunks actually kick us off the realm and ‘reset time’ back up to 20-30 minutes. Through testing, we identified the main culprit as flowing lava in one specific chunk. When we plugged the source block, the lava started dropping like normal until it got into a warped forest biome. Now all the lava columns are acting like lava source blocks. I began blocking them all up but when I left the area to get more fire resistance potions and came back, I get disconnected and then when I log back in, I’m back about 10 minutes in time, staring at the lava columns. Previously, we’ve had a player lose 30 minute chunks of time as she’s decorating her nether tunnel and getting booted off when entering that specific render distance (4 chunks). This boots everyone offline and then resets all our time, even when nowhere near the corrupted lava.
