To Mojang Support Team,
I am writing to formally express my anger and frustration regarding the ongoing issues with Minecraft Realms.
This is now the third time this week that Realms has been unavailable. For a service that users are actively paying for, this level of unreliability is completely unacceptable. Realms is marketed as a stable and convenient multiplayer service, yet it continues to fail at the most basic level — being accessible.
What makes this situation even worse is the complete lack of communication when these outages occur. There are no clear updates, no realistic timeframes, and no meaningful explanations as to what is actually causing the issues or when they will be resolved. Paying customers are left guessing, refreshing pages, and wasting time waiting for a service that may or may not come back online.
When a paid service goes down repeatedly, users deserve:
Timely and transparent updates
Honest explanations of the issues
Clear communication on expected resolution times
None of this is currently being provided.
These outages disrupt scheduled play sessions, impact group gameplay, and repeatedly undermine confidence in Realms as a service. At this point, this is no longer a one-off problem — it is a recurring failure combined with poor communication and a lack of accountability.
I expect a proper response addressing:
Why Realms continues to experience frequent outages
Why users are not being kept informed when the service is down
What steps are being taken to prevent this from continuing
Whether Mojang intends to compensate paying customers for repeated service failures
Generic apologies are not sufficient. This service either needs to function as advertised or Mojang needs to be honest with its customers about its limitations.
Regards,
Tiegan Butler
