Spawn Egg Used on Adult Cat Produces Kitten with 14 Health Instead of Full 20 Health

In Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, when a cat spawn egg is used by right-clicking on an adult, untamed cat, it spawns a kitten with an incorrect starting health of 14 out of its full 20 health points. The spawned kitten is visually at partial health. Untamed adult cats normally have 10 health, and tamed adult cats have 20 health. The resulting kitten should spawn with its full maximum health (20 HP) but instead spawns in a damaged state. Applying an Instant Health potion can restore its health to the full 20.

How to Reproduce:

  1. Locate or spawn an adult, untamed cat (with 10 health).

  2. Obtain and use a cat spawn egg by right-clicking on the adult cat.

  3. A kitten will spawn.

  4. Observe the kitten's health visually or by attacking it. (To precisely verify: Attack the spawned kitten with an empty hand. It will die after 14 hits, confirming it started with 14 health.)

  5. For comparison, on another kitten spawned the same way, use an Instant Health potion to heal it. After healing, attacking it with an empty hand will require 20 hits to kill it, confirming its maximum health is 20 but it did not start with it.

Observed Result:
The kitten spawned from using a spawn egg on an adult cat begins with only 14 health points out of a maximum of 20. It dies after being punched 14 times with an empty hand.

Expected Result:
The kitten spawned from using a spawn egg on an adult cat should begin with its full maximum health of 20 points, and thus should require 20 punches with an empty hand to kill.

(Note: An image displaying the health values of the adult cat and the spawned kitten via a client-side resource pack has been attached for visual reference. This pack only displays existing health data and does not modify any game mechanics. I just don’t wanna hurt cats.)
