The other issue is going to be prioritized since it’s an actual bug and wasn’t just a issue (From what I know because on the Xbox app it displays Minecraft for PlayStation properly) that fixed itself:
An issue I’d like to report as what was a side note has become to priority report of this post is the profile status says “Playing Minecraft for PlayStation” then switches to “Online”
Side note: After sitting on the screen I noticed that it can’t decide what to show altering between the two and I’ve actually known that it does this for a while and just now reporting it. (Video to this issue)
Steps to reproduce:
Open Minecraft on a PlayStation 5
Select “Profile”
Expected result:
Show “Playing Minecraft for PlayStation”
Actual result:
System cannot decide what to show so alters between “Playing Minecraft for PlayStation” and “Online”
Original Post:
Won’t load friends menu and after a bit the buffering wheel framerate becomes lowered, even upon restarting the game it still doesn’t fix and still doesn’t load, I’ve ultimately waited an estimate 10 minutes on this screen and still have no luck.
Steps to reproduce:
Open Minecraft on a PlayStation 5
Select “Play”
Open the “Social” tab
Expected result:
Friends list will open showing all friends
Actual result:
Stuck on loading screen and eventually it’ll just become lower framerate
Assuming the cause of this is having a lot of friends on your Microsoft account however that is just my assumption.
Video listed below is of the noted “Social Tab issue” occurring on a PS5 (slim) please review this video for the issue listed at the top of the documented report also occurring on the same console type, thanks!
Below are some edits I made to recap every update that has occurred since the bug report.
EDIT 1: After closing the game the first few times it didn’t fix the issue but after closing the game and waiting such amount of time then reopening the game it seem to have fixed the issue.
EDIT 2: Due to this the other report in this forum will prioritized over the issue that fixed itself.
