Cats which are aggressive towards mobs like rabbits or baby turtles, still attack and kill that specific mob if they are tamed when they are aggressive.

I noticed that when a cat is trying to attack a rabbit or a baby turtle, if it is tamed while the cat is trying to hunt the mobs, it will still attack and kill that mob and then behave like a normal tamed cat.
