[PowerVR / Android 8.1] Fatal App Crashes during World Creation, Sleeping, and Respawning (v1.26.0 - 1.26.1)

Ever since the 1.26.0 update, I have been experiencing game-breaking crashes that make survival mode completely unplayable on my device.

In version 1.26.0, the game started crashing straight to the device's home screen whenever I try to create a brand new world. Furthermore, if I load into an existing world and try to sleep in a bed, the game instantly crashes. Because of this, my only workaround was to just stay awake and never sleep in-game.

However, after updating to 1.26.1, the crashes have gotten even worse. The world creation and sleeping crashes are still there, but now, whenever my character takes fatal damage and dies, the app completely crashes instead of loading the "Respawn" screen.

What I already tried (Troubleshooting steps that did NOT work):

• Reinstalling: Completely uninstalled and cleanly reinstalled the Minecraft app.

• Clearing Data: Deleted all of the app's cache data.

• Removing Packs: Deleted and deactivated all resource packs to ensure it was strictly vanilla.

• Optimizing Settings: Lowered all video settings to the absolute minimum (fast/optimized settings, lowest render distance, no beautiful skies, etc.).

Despite doing all of this, the game still crashes every single time I sleep, die, or create a world. It seems like the game might be struggling to process these specific events on this PowerVR GPU and Android 8 setup.
