DESCRIPTION:
In Minecraft Bedrock Edition v26.2, the command scoreboard objectives setdisplay list <objective> [ascending|descending] is accepted normally, but assigning an objective to the list display slot does not make the scoreboard appear in the pause‑menu player list. The command runs without errors and the objective itself works, yet the pause menu never reflects the assigned display slot.
Instead of showing each player alongside their corresponding score, the pause menu only displays the currently active players with no scoreboard values at all, behaving as if no objective were ever set. The UI renders correctly, but it completely ignores the scoreboard data, leaving the pause‑menu list unpopulated and inconsistent with the expected behavior of the list display slot.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Launch Minecraft Bedrock Edition v26.2 and enter or create a world.
Create a scoreboard objective, for example:
/scoreboard objectives add test dummyGive yourself a score:
/scoreboard players set @s test 5Assign the objective to the
listdisplay slot:/scoreboard objectives setdisplay list testOpen the pause menu.
