Villagers disappearing on shared realms on logout

Upon logging out of my friends shared realm, all of my villagers despawned, each linked to a bed and work station, with no player activity on the server in the interrum period. I hopped on creative mode and replaced all the villagers and named them this time, linking them in the same way, and they all despawned again upon logging off the server for approximately 30 minutes. Im unsure of what specifically triggered this as my villager breeder(2 chunks away) and my mending villager (1 chunk away) were both unaffected. -423 80 -80 are coordinates if thats at all relevant. Unsure of steps to reproduce.
