Sign acts like a ladder when jumping next to it

When I place a sign on a wall and stand very close to it, pressing the jump button causes a climbing animation, similar to climbing a ladder. It also plays the ladder climbing sound.
This is strange because a sign should not function like a ladder.
Steps to Reproduce:
Place a sign on a wall (tested with cherry sign).
Stand very close to the sign (touching it).
Press the jump button.
Notice the climbing animation and ladder sound.

Expected Result: The player should just jump normally without any climbing animation or ladder sound.

Actual Result: The player triggers a ladder-like climbing animation and sound when jumping next to the sign.

Additional Notes: I have only tested this with cherry signs so far.
