Mouse is not detected by the game

On playstation4, the most recent update has disabled use of my mouse for gameplay. My keyboard and controller still work however my mouse is not picked up by the game. I have checked that the mouse works and is picked up in other games and it worked fine before the update, however after updating it has stopped working
