"Create new world" causing infinite loading loop

When I click “Create new world”, the game appears to load something, before repeatedly loading the same thing over and over again. I can interact with the window very briefly for an instant after the loading to break the loop. See the attached video.

Steps to reproduce

1. Launch the game

2. Click “Play”

3. Click “Create new world”

Probably won’t work for everyone, but it happens every time for me.

Expected result

The page of the UI loads properly and allows interacting without reloading, and maybe show an error if there is a connection issue.

Actual result

After the page loads, there is an instant where interacting is possible. During that instant, it is possible to escape the loop by

• Pressing/holding Esc

• Clicking the “Create new world” button

• Maybe pressing other buttons?

After that instant, the page begins to load again, nearly trapping the game in an infinite loop of loading the page.
