The issue is that for realms, the 2 player version, it is said that the host has their own spot in being able to log in, so it can be max 3 people total. This has been working perfectly until this new update. All of a sudden, there has been an issue trying to have all 3 of us log in. It says 3/2 players online when there is only 2 people online total.
We have tried deleting and reinstalling, closing the realm, everyone leaving for 15 minutes, kicking people out of the realm and readding them, and clicking play at the same time. In game, we have died multiple times to reset the player data. Nothing works. It’s like a forever ghost player bug.
This makes it heavily unenjoyable as it has been happening for the past 17 hours since this report was made. We have spent so long trouble shooting, longer than we decided to even play because we were sad about the issue.
This is also happening on my realm! My friends and I spent so long trying to troubleshoot it as well. Thank you for posting it, as frustrating as it is I am glad its not an issue on our end and I hope Mojang will get this fixed quickly.
