Here I present to you: a bug. Quite the annoying one, that causes the sky to be black (or just very very very very very dark blue).
It does not appear to be weather-related, which was thought at first because it was in fact, the same problem as described by MCPE-147198, however, just a couple weeks ago (this was in 26.0, the affected version above doesn’t let me chose said version) I loaded a world with VV (Vibrant Visuals) and Actions & Stuff and the sky was black. No, it wasn’t A&S acting up. No, it wasn’t VV. It has also occurred previously, in 1.21.80, in two separate worlds, with the screenshots listed below.
Steps to reproduce:
Actually, there doesn’t seem to be a way to reproduce this. It appears only to be clientside (one of the screenshots below is a multiplayer world with someone else who didn’t have it) but otherwise, it just appears seemingly at random or after exiting a rainstorm.
Expected results:
I dunno, maybe for the sky to be normal? It’s certainly not a game-stopping one and ends after a save-and-reload.
Actual result:
See attachments below.
Notes:
I haven’t tested it in 26.10, but since browsing the changelogs yielded no fruits of a fix, I can only presume that it still exists.
