This issue has been reproduced across multiple mob types, confirming it is not isolated to a specific entity.
When a mob is set on fire, the fire texture renders completely black instead of the expected orange/yellow color. The fire also stretches and flickers erratically across the screen as a large black distortion during the animation. Fire placed on blocks nearby renders correctly, confirming the issue is isolated to fire rendered on mobs. This occurs exclusively with Deferred Rendering (Vibrant Visuals) enabled.
Steps to Reproduce:
Enable Deferred Rendering (Vibrant Visuals) in Video Settings
Load any world
Use flint and steel on any mob (tested with multiple mob types: Cow, Evoker, Chicken, Horse, Zombie, Skeleton, Phantom and Drownedβ¦)
Observe the fire texture while the mob is burning
Expected Result: Fire should display with normal orange/yellow texture on the burning mob, consistent with fire placed on blocks.
Observed Result: Fire renders as entirely black opaque shapes on the mob with no orange/yellow visible. Additionally, the fire animation causes large black distortions that stretch and flicker erratically across the screen. Fire on blocks in the same scene renders correctly.
