Instead of changing the “default8.png” to support the “En Dash”, smart quotes, etc. you could’ve modified the “en_GB.lang” to not include those symbols (by replacing all en dashes, etc. with their ASCII forms) By changing the “default8.png”, you have modified a few symbols, too.

The “Delete” character was replaced by a quote, the old copyright symbol (or registered trademark sign, I forget which one it was), was replaced by a quote, 1D, 1E, and 1F, were replaced by a dash and two quotes, and the blank spot at the right bottom corner was replaced by a dash.

Please fix this in the next update by reverting the default8.png back to how it was prior to the update, and also changing all dashes and quotes from the “en_GB.lang” to their regular ASCII forms.
