Editor mode changes the ID of existing players in imported worlds, even if the world was set to save player data when it was exported. From what I discovered, the changing of the ID will practically wipe all scoreboard data the player might have had. This makes it frustrating in my case because my world depends on storing data in scoreboards; it also may affect other things too, but scoreboards are the only thing I’ve noticed.
This issue seems to only happen when the world goes through editor mode
Steps to reproduce:
Before exporting the chosen world to Editor mode, get the player ID (I used scripting)
Export the world to Editor mode. Open it and enter test mode to get the player ID
The two IDs should be different, even if the world is supposed to save player data
