In Minecraft Bedrock Edition (around version 26.11 / recent previews), mobs become partially or fully transparent when the player gets very close to them.
When your camera approaches a mob (e.g. zombie, cow, creeper), the model fades or turns invisible
This happens automatically — not a setting
Affects both hostile and passive mobs
Occurs in normal gameplay, not just specific worlds

We're tracking this issue at MCPE-227625, so I will resolve and link this report as a duplicate.
