I am unable to select items in my inventory, and unable to transfer items from the creative menu to my inventory. Chests are also rendered useless. Whenever an item is clicked on, it is instead just dropped out of my inventory. I am playing mcpe on an ipad.

Are you using any resource packs? If yes, does turning them off fix the issue?
