Bug: Game crashed while playing in single player world, and all inventory items, armor, and levels are gone upon returning, but still standing in same location.
Got the Guardian error a few times while troubleshooting and trying to re-enter the world (the error that states: “An error has occurred. Your discovery environment does not match the hosts’s. Search help.Minecraft.net for "Guardian" for more information.”)
Duplicating the world, closing and and opening the game or the world, signing in and out of my Microsoft account, and power cycling the Nintendo Switch did not solve it.
I’ve seen that a similar bug was reported with regards to multiplayer, but I have been exclusively playing on single player worlds by myself. I’ve also not been able to reliably reproduce the error thus far.

Are you using any add-ons or resource packs? If so, could you provide a complete list of them?
Did you join the world after joining and exiting a server?
Are you using the same Microsoft Account for Minecraft on any other device?
If there are still issues with “Guardian”, please contact Mojang Support.
