Weird texture amalgamation in the sky

I was playing on a server w/ a friend, had been for about 3 minutes. I left an underground area, my screen flickered that black and pink missing texture, and then I saw this thing in the sky.

Unfortunately, I cannot provide much else data, as i’m unable to replicate it and i instantly closed my game upon seeing it.
