Swamp librarian

I went to a swamp biome next to a village. I brought two villagers here had them make a small little villager in the swamp. Biome waited for the swamp little villager to become an adult so he could have a new job made him a swamp librarian I thought if you make a swamp librarian and you level them up to master level that he will trade you a mending book on master level trade, but yet I have a red candle very disappointing. I thought this was the only way to do it. Maybe it’s only on PC but it should be on Xbox as well. All your Minecraft versions should be the same as PC. It’s not fair for us Xbox players for us to wait. It really sucks. We’re just subjected to going out of the world and trying to hope that we find mending book which is the one of the rarest items in the game now. So frustrating so disappointed.
