When opening a chest, the model overlaps with a redstone torch (if it is placed). this causes Z-fighting, resulting in flickering where the two models intersect. This issue only occurs when a chest is opened.
Steps to reproduce
Place a pillar (of any block) of 3 blocks
Place the chest on the ground and the torch on the third block.
Open the chest.
You should see a UI, that is fine.
Expected Results
Only the correct model should render, consequently, they should not overlap.
Observed Results
The two models intersect, making it flicker.
Note I am using the Bedrock Developer Art Pack resource pack. This does not change the models, it only changes the textures, so it doesn't affect this issue.
