Friend adding permission bug

I was told from my friend to add me from minecraft. But when I added him and went to go invite him it never shows I added him, so I went back and checked, he was added but the profile of “ You need permission! “ to see his friends to add them also, it never shows on me friending him, it's like I friended a ghost the bug is caused allot making me not friend a bedrock player.
