Minecraft Bedrock Android crashes after Microsoft sign in and online sync after latest update (Poco X6 5G / HyperOS 3.2)

Device: Poco X6 5G

Platform: Android 16 / HyperOS 3.2

Game: Minecraft Bedrock Edition v26.20

The issue started immediately after updating Minecraft from the Play Store.

Before the update:

- Microsoft sign in worked normally

- Realms worked normally

- no crashes happened

After the update:

- the game crashes during or after Microsoft/Xbox sign in

- sometimes there is a login loop

- the game redirects to the internal browser repeatedly during sign in

- sometimes it asks to select account multiple times

- Xbox app also crashes or fails to load correctly

Important observations:

- Minecraft works completely fine offline

- local worlds work offline without crashes

- crashes mostly happen after internet is enabled or after account sync starts

- after signing in successfully, the game may stay open for 1-2 minutes and then crash

- Realms and online syncing seem connected to the crash

- browser login to Microsoft works normally outside the game

- different Microsoft accounts also crash on this device

- the same account works correctly on another phone

There was also a popup saying:

“Global Resources Reset - Resources failed to load previously”

Things already tested:

- reinstalling Minecraft

- clearing Minecraft cache/data

- restarting phone

- disabling Game Turbo

- removing battery restrictions

- signing in through Chrome

- testing offline and online separately

- using default Alex skin

- resetting app preferences

The issue only started after the latest Minecraft update.
