Sulfur cube leash attachment/leash points offset

This text has been updated to cover the underlying issue.

The attachment and leash points for leashes are different for sulfur cubes, with one of the points being offset toward the face and the other being centered. This is something I noticed when I tried making a chain of sulfur cubes as a snake, and initially thought it was specific to the -x direction, but soon realized that it was caused by all of the sulfur cubes facing toward the -x direction, and by one of the leash/attachment points being offset towards the face. Besides affecting by snake chain attempt, it more notably affects monorail designs I built, which results in them having different speeds in different directions depending on the direction that the cubes are facing, and made making turns for the monorail much more difficult.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Place two sulfur cubes, with ice inside (or use commands to replace the block inside with barriers so the leash attachment points are visible)

  2. Leash the sulfur cubes to each other

  3. Observe that one leash end in each cube is centered, and the other is offset towards the face

Expected result:

The leash attachment points would be centered.

Actually result:

One point is offset, which causes unexpected directional behavior that can only be changed by removing the block, as sulfur cubes can’t turn with a block inside (by pulling using leashes this can be done, but that is a separate bug).

Video of the leash chain is provided, and I will add an image of the offset attachment points.
