The minecraft:cornerable_stairs block tag was introduced under experimental in 1.21.130.24 for use alongside the minecraft:corner_and_cardinal_direction block trait. Later, minecraft:corner_and_cardinal_direction was released to be usable without Beta APIs experimental toggle in 1.26.0, however minecraft:cornerable_stairs appears to have been left behind.
Steps to reproduce:
Download the attached add-on.
Create or open a world without the Beta APIs experiment enabled.
Run
/give @s king:oak_stairs.Place the custom stairs adjacent to vanilla stairs in a configuration where they should form connected corners.
Observed results:
The custom stairs do not connect to adjacent stairs.
Expected results:
The custom stairs should connect correctly and form corners, matching vanilla stair behaviour.
