Problem Description:
When playing Minecraft on Android 14, starting a screen recording that captures "Internal Audio" (System Audio) causes the game and the screen to freeze completely after 2 seconds. The only way to unfreeze the device is to stop the recording or force close the game.
Steps to reproduce:
Open Minecraft and enter any world.
Start a screen recording using the native system recorder or a third-party app with "Internal Audio" enabled.
Play for 2 seconds.
The screen freezes completely.
Expected result:
The game should continue running smoothly while the screen and internal audio are being recorded.
Actual result:
The game and the device's screen freeze completely after 2 seconds of recording.
Workaround:
Changing the audio source of the screen recorder to "Microphone" or "Mute" fixes the freezing completely. The issue is strictly linked to the internal audio capture conflict.
