The way XP orbs drops on Minecraft Bedrock Edition is different from Java Edition (Comparision on attachments).
Steps to reproduce:
You can try to kill mobs while exploring around as you keep a look to your XP barβs progress and for possible abandoned orbes through your way.
Or just watch the way XP pops from the mobs on both versions.
What is expected:
Was expected to the XP behavior have parity with Java, which is not the case.
What actually happens:
On Bedrock Edition, orbs tend to drop after the mobs' death animation is finished, disappear, and the smoke appears.
Meanwhile, on Java Edition, as they died, their XP drops instantly, altogether with the loot; no need to wait for the death animation to finish.
This creates a nonsense difficulty for collecting XP, mainly while killing and running on Bedrock version; you always can leave XP orbs behind, as on Java Edition there are no issues like that.
