When replacing the block inside a sulfur cube with a dispenser, it keeps the old archetype, for example: using a dispenser to replace the wool in a sulfur cube with iron will result in a sulfur cube with iron inside that acts like it has wool. This is much more noticeable on special archetypes like TNT, where you can end up with a sulfur cube looking like it has a block insid like dirt, but still explodes on redstone interaction.
