Using the term “wool” in commands only affects white wool, with no available block states. This breaks commands that previously used “wool” to target all wool colours.
The example I’ve used is trying to remove a wool block below the player’s feet using a command to replace “wool” with air.
/fill ~ ~-1 ~ ~ ~-1 ~ air replace woolExpected result: The block is deleted as long as it is any colour of wool.
Actual result: Only white wool blocks are deleted.
Another instance is removing wool from a player’s inventory.
/clear @s woolExpected result: All types of wool are cleared away.
Actual result: Only white wool is removed from the player.
