Dear Minecraft Support / Mojang Team,
I am writing to report two major issues that are severely impacting my gameplay experience, as well as to share a suggestion for future in-game content.

Device Model: Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+
Technical Issues & Complaints
1. Custom Skin Automatically Resetting to Default (Ongoing for 8 Months)
Whenever I equip a custom skin and attempt to load into a world—whether it is a single-player world, a local multiplayer game, or an online server—my skin automatically reverts to a standard default skin (such as Steve or Alex any) the moment I join.
An Unresolved 8-Month Issue: This is not a minor or recent glitch; this problem has been persisting for 8 months now. Mobile and tablet players have been dealing with this frustration for nearly a year without a proper fix, which is entirely unacceptable for a core game feature.
Ruins the Hype and Immersion: Character customization is a massive part of what makes Minecraft special. Not being able to use our own custom skins completely ruins the hype, excitement, and personal identity within the game. This is the major cost cutting problem for gamers and users. There should be some permanent solution. I have tried to reach with hive as they have said this problem is releated with minecraft.
Mobile & Tablet Specific: This issue is heavily impacting the mobile and tablet community, creating a highly unfair experience compared to PC users who do not face this restriction. It requires your urgent, immediate attention to finally resolve this long-standing bug.
2. Performance Issues & World Lagging
In addition to the skin glitch, I am experiencing significant performance degradation and lag while playing inside my worlds. This includes frame drops, stuttering during exploration, and delayed block updates. Given that my device meets the necessary performance standards, these lag spikes point to optimization issues within the recent patch that need to be addressed.
Suggestion: Launch New In-Game Events
To help revive the excitement and keep the community active—especially while we wait for these critical bugs to be resolved—I highly suggest that Minecraft introduces new, time-limited in-game events (such as seasonal celebrations, community challenges, or mini-game events accessible directly from the main menu). Introducing fresh, official events would give players a brand-new reason to log in and keep the gameplay loop exciting.
Thank you for your time. Because the skin issue has been broken for 8 months, I sincerely hope your development team will finally prioritize fixing it for mobile/tablet players in the next immediate hotfix.
