Since updating to Minecraft 1.21.72, player skins no longer load correctly on my Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet.
In multiplayer worlds and servers, players who join after me appear as default Minecraft skins. If I leave and rejoin the world while those players are still nearby, their correct skins load.
On large servers such as Hive and CubeCraft, almost all players appear as default Minecraft skins.
Before Minecraft 1.21.72, player skins loaded normally on this device.
Steps to Reproduce:
Join a multiplayer world or server on an Amazon Fire HD 8 (2018).
Wait for another player to join after you.
Observe that the player's custom skin does not appear and a default skin is shown instead.
