Mending enchantment completely broken across multiple consoles and worlds on single profile. I have logged into my account on xbox one and playstation 5 and played on two separate worlds. both have an issue with my diamond mending tools (pickaxe and shovels are the ones i have tried) are not mending. i have signed out and signed back in, killed my character, taken off all enchanted armor, nothing is working to fix this. my tool will be in my right hand and no amount of xp will heal my tools. i have even tried to use bottle o enchanting to gain extra xp only holding my diamond mending pickaxe. please help ;( this problem has been ongoing for about a month through several updates. thank you.

i made sure i had no enchanted armour on or any other enchanted tools in my inventory. i can also send a video from my other console (xbox) with a separate world if u would like. my diamond tools on that world have less than half health and will not repair anymore than where they are left. those tools are almost to the point of breaking completely. this diamond pickaxe is half health because that's where i have stopped using it until the mending is repaired so i do not loose my tool
Note, Mojang removed the bobbing of the item when it gets repaired using XP in a recent update, so to actually confirm that Mending isn’t working for you, you need to get a lot of XP (enough that would usually visibly increase the length of the bar substantially) Notably, your experience bar doesn’t move, meaning that the XP is being absorbed to mend a tool, and thus what I think is occurring is that the tool is being mended, you just haven’t absorbed enough XP to see the difference.
