Description:
When using the @minecraft/server-ui module, pasting large strings into a TextInput component causes the Bedrock engine's Server Tick to freeze completely, halting all game logic.
Through testing, we found a specific "freeze threshold":
< 4500 characters: Form submits and parses normally.
~6000 - 7500 characters: The engine completely freezes upon submission. This is a Server-Side freeze: mobs stop moving, items float in the air, broken blocks do not drop, and game time halts. The main thread hangs before the
Promisecan resolve in the Script API, meaning it cannot be caught with atry/catchblock. The engine drops the packet immediately, throwing aPlayerLeftError(Form rejected because the player left) in the script console, but the game does not freeze.[Scripting][warning]-[BP] Form error: 'minecraft:custom_form' was rejected because the player left.
The critical issue lies in the ~6000-7500 character range, where the server attempts to parse the string but gets stuck in an infinite loop or memory lock, effectively killing the server thread.
