Multiplayer automatically turns off after entering any world on Android

Short description:

On Android Bedrock Edition, the "Multiplayer Game" option automatically turns off and becomes greyed out after entering any world.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Minecraft Bedrock Edition on Android.

2. Create a new world.

3. Enable "Multiplayer Game".

4. Enter the world.

5. Open the world settings.

Expected result:

The "Multiplayer Game" option should stay enabled, and other players should be able to join my world.

Actual result:

After entering the world, the "Multiplayer Game" option automatically becomes disabled and greyed out. No one can see or join my world, and invitations are not received.

Additional information:

I tested this with different Microsoft accounts, different worlds, and another Android device. The issue also occurred in the Beta version.

Thank you for your report!

  • Is “Allow mobile data for online play” enabled?

  • Could you try to reproduce the issue on the newest update?

1st go to the setting and then general, then scroll down and look for allow mobile data for online play, then don't open your world just stay at the menu and click on the pencil icon then turn on multiplayer. Then open world and send invitation.
