My old world (from 1.21) doesn’t generate sulfur cubes. I’ve already updated to the latest version, but even using the /locate biome Minecraft:sulfur_caves returns an error. I’ve used chunkbase to find where sulfur caves would generate, and there are no caves there. This issue persists even when creating a duplicate of this world. However, when I use the world’s seed and generate a new world, I’m able to find sulfur caves.
This is not a realm, this is a single player world.

Your world's base game version was locked to 1.21.131 due to the world being a world template. I've converted the world into a normal one, so you should now have access to the new features.
