When editing a resource pack's particles.png file, it is impossible to separate combat effects. If the sheet is blacked out to remove them the particles either the sharpness particles stay and the crit particles dont stay or the crit particles stay and the enchantment particles stay. there is no keep crit particles and remove sharpness particles, or its almost impossible to without extreme measures, both critical hits and sharpness particles are deleted simultaneously. If edited in a software program, the textures are hard-locked together on the same index loop. Attempting to isolate them via custom .json code overrides does absolutely nothing, as the game completely ignores the individual script instructions and forces both particles to either stay active together or stay hidden together.
The Bedrock engine should read custom .json modifications independently for minecraft:critical_hit_emitter and minecraft:enchanting_table_particle, allowing players to isolate combat effects regardless of the resource pack's texture state.
Steps to Reproduce
Apply any resource pack with a blacked-out or customized particles.png file to Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
Attempt to add custom .json scripts to the particles/ directory to force critical hits back on while keeping sharpness off.
Test a jump-critical hit and an enchanted weapon swing in-game.
Observe that both particle types are completely stuck together across all packs—they either both remain visible or both stay hidden, making it impossible to separate them.
With the image i sent that shows that there is no enchantment particles and the enchantment particles i thought i removed are still there in game.
