Minecraft crashes nearly instantly. We have tried multiple fixes within game from lowering all visual and audio settings in world and we get a frozen screen and then booted back to Xbox dashboard. There was no previous experience with this in earlier versions. We just downloaded the game and tried playing multi-player. We tried single player and still the same result. We tried lowering settings from the minecraft min menu before entering any world and the game crashes in the settings menu. We lowered all graphics settings from the console setting, still minecraft crashes. We deleted and re-downloaded the game(multiple times) including all save data and completed console power cycles, still the game crashes. We did a console reset and still the game crashes. We tested Minecraft Preview and had no problems whatsoever.
Expected result: A fix to be able to play this wonderful game as a couple
I hope Mojang finds this information useful and I hope to find a resolution soon. My significant other and I are trying to relive fond memories playing in the earlier days.
Crashes such as these are logged automatically by the game and investigated further by the development team internally, so they are not generally kept on the bug tracker.
