Title:
LAN worlds of friends fail to appear when the player has no local save files
Issue:
The LAN world discovery feature does not function when the player's save directory is completely empty, preventing friends' hosted games from appearing in the multiplayer list.
Description:
When a player launches the game with no existing local world saves (e.g., fresh installation or after deleting all worlds), the multiplayer LAN tab fails to detect and display any active LAN sessions hosted by friends on the same network. This issue does not occur once at least one local save file is created, suggesting an unintended dependency between LAN discovery and local save data.
Steps to Reproduce:
Ensure the player's local save directory contains no world saves (delete or move all existing save folders).
Have a friend host a LAN world on the same local network.
Launch the game and navigate to the Multiplayer screen, then select the LAN world search option.
Wait for the scan to complete and observe the displayed list of available LAN games.
Observed Results:
No LAN worlds are shown in the list, even though the friend's world is actively hosted and visible to other players who have at least one local save file.
Expected Results:
The friend's LAN world should appear in the list regardless of whether the local player has any existing save files, as network discovery should operate independently of local world data.
