Bug Report
Title:
[Beta] Launching via Google Play Games corrupts player data: Spawns in solid blocks, resets settings/achievements, and wipes inventory
Environment:
Device: Vivo Y35 4G[Android 14]
Game Version: Bedrock Beta 1.26.50.22
Description:
While playing on a world created in a previous version, I experienced a severe multi-bug issue after launching Minecraft directly through the "Google Play Games" app (which I occasionally use to track achievements for other games). The game took much longer to load than usual. Upon loading, my player data appeared completely corrupted. I spawned inside a solid block and died, despite having saved and exited in a safe location. Afterward, a series of severe glitches occurred affecting my spawn point, game settings, movement, inventory, and progression.
Steps to Reproduce:
Play a world created in a previous version on Beta 1.26.50.22.
Save and quit with the player in a safe location.
Close the game, then launch Minecraft directly from the "Google Play Games" app.
Load the previously saved world.
Observed Results:
Upon loading the world via this method, the following issues occurred simultaneously:
Spawn Corruption: The game took unusually long to load, and the player spawned inside a solid block and died.
Respawn Error: The player respawned near the world origin (around 0,0) instead of the previously set bed spawn point.
Settings Reset: Control sensitivity and Camera FOV were both randomly set to "High".
Movement Glitch: The backward movement (Joystick "S" or "↓") was exaggerated, acting like extreme knockback or creative mode flight speed, which caused the player to fall to their death. This persisted across 3 respawns.
Complete Inventory Wipe: The player's entire personal inventory was deleted. (Items stored in chests and bundles inside chests remained safe).
Progression Reset: All unlocked in-game crafting recipes and achievements were completely reset to Day 1 status.
Expected Results:
Launching the game through the Google Play Games app should load the player normally at their last saved location, with all inventory, settings, spawn points, and achievements intact.
Troubleshooting Steps Attempted:
Refreshed and restarted the game.
Result: Restarting the game fixed the exaggerated movement glitch and normalized the game's behavior. However, the lost inventory, reset crafting recipes, and reset achievements remain permanently lost.

Hello! Thank you for looking into this. I am adding my vote to this issue, but I wanted to share some new information because my experience with this bug had a very severe side effect.
Along with spawning near 0,0 and losing my entire inventory, all of my unlocked crafting recipes and in-game achievements were completely reset to zero.
To be clear, my world is a standard Normal difficulty survival world with no cheats enabled, so my achievements were working perfectly fine before this glitch. It seems like launching the game through the Google Play Games app did not just clear my inventory, but completely wiped or failed to load my player profile data.
Additionally, my game settings (FOV and sensitivity) randomly spiked to "High," and my backward movement glitched (acting like extreme knockback) immediately after this happened.
I hope these extra details help the team figure out what is causing this data corruption!

Feature Suggestion / Feedback: please bring the Import/Export buttons back to mobile Bedrock we paid/bought the game to play so why can't we save/export our world when the game doesn't itself
