Vibrant Visuals World failure

I have a flat world that I use to test out Vibrant Visuals packs and to make my own, and in this latest update it broke the ability to use Vibrant Visuals in my own single-player world that is not marketplace-made. It will load the world, but vibrant visuals are disabled, and I cannot use the world for testing vibrant visuals anymore because of a world-handling bug.

just download the world and see the bug in action
the world is user-made and has no content from the marketplace
