Vibrant visuals option locked on an exising world that before the updated worked perfectly fine

upon entering an existing world that had vibrant visuals working fine before the update it has now greyed out the vibrant visuals option.

i have tried removing all packs all together that made no difference.

i have tried creating a new world vibrant visuals works

i have tried turning on drop 3 incase drop 3 was causing the issue as i have drop 3 active on the existing world that is not allowing vibrant visuals but upon activating drop 3 on the new world vibrant visuals still works fine.

i have restarted the game numerous times turned on and off ingame graphics switching.

i have selected vibrant visuals which is not greyed out from the main menu.
