Enabling “Education Edition” features forces lower graphics settings and changes water appearance

After updating Minecraft Bedrock to version 26.40, enabling the “Education Edition” option in the world settings appears to force the world into a lower graphics mode. When Education Edition features are disabled, the world uses the newer/brighter water appearance with the higher graphics setting. However, as soon as “Education Edition” is enabled, the water changes to the darker blue appearance associated with the “Fancy” graphics mode, and the higher graphics option/appearance is no longer used. This is especially noticeable because we need Education Edition features enabled in order to access the Chemistry items, including the “Products” category. Previously, we were able to use the Education Edition chemistry features AND have the brighter/high-quality water appearance at the same time. This behavior changed after an update.
