[MCPE-241592] Incorrect block placement

When i try to place down a crafting table or say a furnace for example on where a weed in the ground is, it places the block ontop of the weed instead of on the ground like its supposed to.

Unfortunately I wasn't recording when this happened, and have already switched back to the original game as I have already tested everything I wanted to in the beta, but if you load up a world in the beta and try to place down a block where grass or weeds are you'll see what im talking about.
