Glass panes dont connect to walls properly when placed with command blocks

The actual version listed on my switch 2 is 1.26.50 Nintendo switch 2 closed beta, this bug occurs when using command blocks to place down certain items like glass panes or iron bars (those are the ones that I have seen) using the /fill command. In my instance of the bug they are placed in during a command chain, and that command chain is also littered with weird bugs, with this one being the most prevalent.
