When playing stock vanilla Minecraft Bedrock Edition on an NVIDIA RTX 3050 with the Vibrant Visuals (Deferred Lighting) graphics mode turned ON, specific item and block textures experience an intense color distortion.
This issue specifically impacts chests, held bread items, and lanterns. The textures do not lose their pixel mapping details or line definitions—the wood grain patterns on the chests, the texture details on the bread, and the iron frame lines of the lanterns remain completely visible. However, the base lighting calculations distort the color palette into a high-saturation, bright yellow-orange.
This issue disappears immediately when switching back to Simple or Fancy graphics modes, proving it is an issue with the Deferred Technical Preview engine processing textures on RTX hardware. The bugged coloration is permanently captured in the saved world thumbnail icons.
Steps to Reproduce
Launch Minecraft Bedrock Edition (v1.26.44) on a Windows 11 PC using an NVIDIA RTX 3050 GPU.
Turn ON "Vibrant Visuals" in the Video settings.
Load into a world, place a standard chest, place a lantern, and hold a piece of bread.
Observe that the original texture lines are fully intact, but the base colors have completely shifted into a deep orange-yellow hue.
Observed Results
Chests, bread, and lanterns retain their texture details but render with an incorrect, highly saturated orange-yellow color palette under Vibrant Visuals lighting. and happens on the main menu
Expected Results
All blocks and items should maintain their correct default color tones and shading values while using the Vibrant Visuals engine.
